hyde park office building
tampa, FLorida
This private, 2 story office building located on two former residential parcels in the historic neighborhood of Hyde Park, in Tampa, Florida, blends harmoniously with the mixed-use storefronts of the Hyde Park Village commercial district and the surrounding 1920’s historic residences. The subtle, prairie style design cues pay homage to several homes found in the area and create a tasteful and elegant transitional style between the adjacent residential and commercial properties. A few individuals have told our client that the “building looks like it has always been here”; which is music to our ears.
The building features 48” roof overhangs; a deep, continuous precast concrete shade element; manufactured stone “brick”; smooth steel trowel stucco; operable casement windows in antique bronze; decorative and intricate precast panels over the front and rear entrances; precast stone bands and details; custom gutter system with stainless steel rain chains; stainless steel gas lanterns; FLW Society planters; and window muntin “tree” patterns which are also replicated in many of the custom fencing details.
