young magnet middle school additions and renovations

The existing structure for this project was a circa 1963 existing Junior High that was to be converted into a functional magnet middle school for math and science. This $9.4 Million project included over 70,000 S.F. renovation/remodel, a new 20,000 S.F. gym/multi-purpose building and a new 16,500 S.F. sixth grade building were added to the site. In order to unify the new and existing buildings, a unified facade was designed for the entire project. The project also included a new running track, play courts, and parking/bus pick-up areas. During the renovation active campus operations were maintained.
